E.F.T. Chakra Information Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)EFT is a quick, effective process for relieving the body and mind of negative emotional energy.How does it work?Like acupuncture, the EFT centers on the theory that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system. By correcting a problem in the body's energy, one correspondingly corrects the problem on the emotional level. The EFT process focuses on the subtle flow of energy through the body and attempts to clear energy blockages at certain "meridians," or energy channels. Instead of inserting needles like an acupuncturist, the EFT practitioner gently taps these points with a finger to help release the blockages, while the client focuses his or her mind on the problem. An analogy might be that the client thinks about what is wrong in order to "set up" the problem like a bowling pin, while the practitioner taps to "knock it down" like a bowling ball.The history: Emotional Freedom Techniques were developed in part by engineer Gary Craig as a way of simplifying a more complex process called Thought Field Techniques (TFT).The basic theories behind both EFT and TFT are essentially the same, but EFT applies the concept of "total redundancy" to the TFT process so that the proper points are always tapped, no matter what the problem is. EFT is a reduction from TFT's 15 issue-specific tapping routines and multiple diagnostic processes to a single, comprehensive, diagnostic-free routine that is both fast and effective.Effectiveness: EFT has been effective in ridding clients of a host of negative emotions including fear, anger, stress, anxiety, self-doubt, long-term negative behaviors, and unhealthy patterns of belief. The techniques have even been used to help rid war veterans of the emotional damage caused by the stress of combat, with great results! In addition, since the emotional state of the mind holds great consequence for the state of the body, EFT is also helpful in reducing or eliminating physical problems such as chronic pain, headaches, body pains, breathing difficulties, and more. It has been reported that 50-60% of people experience "important change" after their first encounter with EFT. An additional 20% experience "some change" and wish to continue with the technique in multiple sessions. Practiced users of EFT and those who undergo the technique with a certified practitioner report an 80-95% success rate.

Tips for a happier you

The day-to-day responsibilities can get the best of us sometimes. The stress of our daily routines can become so much that we constantly feel fatigued, anxious and irritable. Stress can cause negative side effects not only to a persons relationship with those around them, but has been linked to cause serious health risks, including obesity, insomnia, pain and even heart disease. Even during those days when it seems you don't even have a second to take care of yourself. Here are some exercises you can do, for even if only a minute per day, to help your system re-center and bring a bit more peace to the day. Find a quiet space to hide for a moment.Even if its for just 30 - 60 seconds, find a room, a closet if you have to, and take a moment to close your eyes and breathe. Without any other thoughts in your mind, then the sound of the deep breathes you are taking. With each deep breathe, allow yourself to feel the muscles of tension relax throughout your entire body. Do this as often as you can. MeditationYes, it really works. Some even refer to meditation as a form of self-hypnosis. Whichever phrase you choose to use, the practice helps to center your being. You may use meditation music to assist in allowing yourself to become completely calm. You can even leave my site up as the music to have in the background while you close your eyes, and breathe deeply. Allow your mind to clear completely, concentrating only on the deep breathes you are taking, if thoughts do come to your mind, allow only a moment to pay attention to them, and just as the signs on a highway, let them pass by, allowing yourself to relax even further and deeper. ExerciseI know, I know. With what time? Right? Yet, throughout that busy and hectic day, you are and could be exercising. Power walking, climbing stairs, lifting, etc. You could also take up a yoga, pilates, kick-boxing, or other work-out class that sparks your interest. The benefits of accepting exercise into your life are exponential. Some examples are, increased energy, improved mood, combats chronic diseases, and manage weight to name a few.

Q: Is Hypnosis Therapy Safe?A: Hypnotherapy is completely safe. You cannot be forced to do or remember anything you don't want to. Since the key ingredient in hypnotherapy is your willingness to submit to the process, you are in control at all times.Q: Is Hypnosis Mind Control?A: No. You are in control the entire time, and cannot be made to do anything that you would not do consciously. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis.Q: Can I get stuck in hypnosis?A: It is impossible to be trapped in a hypnotic state. You can choose to come out of hypnosis any time you want. It is impossible to go too deeply into hypnosis - if such a thing happens, you will merely fall asleep and awake normally.Q: I've seen hypnotists on television who make people do all sorts of strange things. Will this happen to me?A: You will not do anything that makes you uncomfortable. You are in control the whole time. The people you see on television are typically selected by the hypnotist because of certain personality traits. Most who volunteer to be hypnotized in this manner do so because they have a willingness to perform up to expectations.Q: I don't think I can be hypnotized. A: The number one factor in going under hypnosis is the willingness to do so. Since all hypnosis is self-hypnosis, if you want to be hypnotized, you will be. Everyone has the potential to be placed in a hypnotic state. Those who typically experience difficulties are people with a fear of loss of control, or those who don't really want to be hypnotized.Q: Will I rememeber what happened?A: Yes. You will remember everything you are willing to remember from the session. When you are under hypnosis, you will still be mentally aware and in control at all times.
